Our Speakers
Phyllis Kilbourn
Phyllis Kilbourn is a child advocate, trauma trainer, and author who has worked with WEC International since 1967, serving in Kenya and Liberia. In 1996, she founded Rainbows of Hope, a global ministry to children in crisis, and in 2003, she founded Crisis Care Training International. Dr. Kilbourn is the editor/author of six handbooks for ministry to children in crisis and a train the trainer crisis care curriculum, “Offering Healing and Hope for Children in Crisis.”
Steven Mayanja
In 1985, Pastor Steven D. Mayanja began sharing the gospel with the children of his home village of Seguku, in Uganda. His outreach grew into a Children’s Church and school outreaches, which gave birth to Uganda Christian Outreach Ministries. Steven Mayanja is also the Senior Pastor of Seguku Worship Center and the Foreign Mission Director of World Outreach Ministry Foundation. Pastor Mayanja has five children with his wife, Cissy.
Jane Mackie
Jane Mackie has been National Coordinator of the Children’s Prayer Network in Australia since 1995, an organization seeking to disciple, mobilize and network Christian children for prayer, enabling them to take their place in God’s family. Since then, Jane has traveled to more than 30 nations, usually accompanied by a team of children and young people, to share the vision the Lord has given her.
José L. González
José L. González is Founder and President of Semilla, Inc., a ministry dedicated to cultural transformation through leadership development in Latin America. He is also a coordinator for Transforma Latinoamérica and the Global Task Force on Biblical Worldview for the 4/14 Window Initiative. For several years, José has taught classes in Latin American Political Culture internationally. José also serves as an elder at his home church. Married to Diana González, José has four grown children and five grandchildren.
