The Venue
Participants will spend conference days at the University of the Holy Spirit, located just north of Beirut in Jounieh, just minutes from the Mediterranean Sea.
This venue offers a beautiful example of the rich diversity of culture and history in Lebanon. Attendees will enjoy general sessions in the 1200 seat theatre; share workshop and forum sessions in the modern science building, complete with projectors and wireless internet access; be refreshed and inspired by the historical artifacts, outdoor amphitheatre, limestone portico overlooking the Mediterranean, and more.
The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) is a private Catholic university established by the Lebanese Maronite Order of monks in 1961. USEK is located 15 km north of the capital city of Beirut. It is committed to preserving its traditional roots and pursuing world-class education and research. Though multi-lingual, the university is primarily French-speaking. At present it is known as an Arab, national, Catholic university open to all the students of the world and to all humanizing cultural currents of thought. USEK is currently home to more than 7,000 students.
